Peaches & Cream Lashes, Hit or Miss?

Peaches & Cream Lashes, Hit or Miss?

This week has been packed with not just work but with social engagements. I know what’s going?!- I’m normally quite a hermit! This blog post has been in the back of my mind for a while, but having a quiet moment to sit down and write it has only just happened so this is hot off the press. *face palm*

Peaches and Cream is a brand I’ve heard of but not ventured into until recently. When falselashes.co.uk got in touch and wanted gift me some lashes to try out I was pretty excited, you can probably tell I’ve been in a blogging funk (it’s hard not too notice) and new products seem to help get me get out of my blogger’s block as it gives me review ideas.

When it comes to fake lashes when done right they seem to impress people, their pretty  amazed that I’ve stuck these fiddly things on my eyelid and they somehow stay on and look like lashes. Don’t get me wrong, a couple of years ago my makeup skills were pretty dire and fake eyelashes looked terrible on me, it didn’t help that I wasn’t cutting them down to size. Which is the ultimate lash sin, ALWAYS check the size of the lashes before application. If they look too big (as in too long) for your eyes, that means they probably are and you shouldn’t be afraid to cut them to size. Make sure to cut from the outside in, so you don’t lose any of the shorter graduation of lashes which make them look more realistic.

Don’t be hard on yourself, I’m still no pro which you can tell from in these pics!

The thing about lashes is that they seem to pull a whole look together, and once you get hooked you feel naked without them.

No. 6 (£5.95)

This style is super long and fluffy, the thick black band intensifies the lash line on the eye lid and are perfect if you’re not the best at eyeliner cause it sort of does it for you. They also have a gradual flair out, which give mega impact.

No. 8 (£4.50)

These double stacked lashes have a slight flair out at the corners and are a universal shape which will look great on most eye shapes. These lashes are sooo comfortable to wear and I’m putting that down to them having an invisible lash line. I think for my eyes these are the longest I can go, I might experiment with cutting them some more to make them smaller to fit my tiny lids, the lashes are verging on hitting my brows so their just too long for me sadly.

Hit or miss?

If you’re after affordable lashes for parties and clubbing these are perfect! Their reusable if you look after them and the apply super quick. Don’t forget lash glue is sold separately from these bad boys.

Natural lashes? These definitely are not, but check out their full range for softer more natural styles. Another favourite affordable lash of mine is Ardell Demi Wispies (£4.49), even Kylie Jenner has been known to wear these, clearly even billionaires like to save a few pennies here and there!

*These lashes were gifted in exchange for an honest review.
