Happy Monday!

Do you go back and forward about purchasing pretty much anything? My indecisive nature has landed me in disappointment more than once, recently it was over the Carli Bybel Deluxe palette (£22) I was contemplating getting over on BeautyBay. Then one day it was gone. Luckily for me a quick google search showed that Urban Outfitters was selling the palette. I love the original, but it’s old now and my eyes water when I use it, but I still dip into the highlighters.

The deluxe edition…

The deluxe palette has 11 old shades from the original as well as 10 new shades like the metallic pink. The shadows blend so well and are really pigmented, personally I think it’s a great palette for beginners. There’s mauves, browns, golds and pinks. The shades all work well together and you can’t go wrong with any of the combinations you can come up with. My only thing is… Is that the mattes are a little powdery, so they don’t swatch the best and they do sometimes become a little dusty in the pan, that being said I don’t experience any fall out on the face and they blend well on the lid so I’m not mad.

There are six highlighter shades so everyone should be able to find a good match. I also use them as eyeshadows as they are incredibly pigmented, the white highlighter needs a mention as it is intense. You definitely need a light hand with these shades for inner corner highlight!

I was really happy with the look I came up with for sister’s 21st birthday party and have been reaching for the palette for my everyday highlighter needs. I think for the price this is a great palette, there are soft neutral tones and pops of colour and glitter that make it a great all round palette.

What’s your favourite palette atm? Have you missed out on some makeup because you’re indecisive too?- Be sure to comment to let me know! ♥︎
