I’ve not been using any of the skincare products from the M&S advent calendar yet, as I don’t want to change my skincare routine before graduation, except I shouldn’t have bothered as I’ve woken up with a giant spot anyway! *sighs* Anyway I’m still reluctant to try the skincare products so I’ve put the Advanced Repair Sleeping Facial and the Radiance Reveal Peel which sounds gross and a lot of fun; aside for the time being. I have however, tried a bit of the Liquid Rose Gold on the back of my hand, sadly the bottle had leaked at some point so was a bit oily to touch. I was expecting it to look a bit like a watered down liquid highlighter, but it is just clear and has no flecks of glitter or gold. It moisturised my hand really well and I think it’ll perform well on the face.
I’d seen this Eyeko London mascara in TK Maxx on several occasions when I rummage through looking for a bargain. Every time I’ve been intrigued by the whole packaging but it was always open. This mini from the advent calendar has a curved wand that curls the lashes whilst the formula lengthens slightly giving a natural finish. I normally opt for a mascara that gives a more fake lash look, but this mascara is great for everyday wear.
I’ve had Nails Inc. polish before and really liked it, I’ll be trying this gold gel polish in the prettily named shade Molten Star, nearer the time of Christmas. It’s a little out there compared to what I normally wear but I’m willing to give it a go. Now onto the Blood Orange perfume, which smells like the name and comes in the prettiest packaging. I’ve really enjoyed using it, if you prefer more floral musky tones you’ll probably hate this sweet smelling perfume.
The dud product from the last six days has to be Ultra Sun lip balm, what can I say?-It’s just meh. Apart from that, like I said in Days 1-6 the product sizes are great and I definitely feel like I’ve had my money’s worth.
What advent calendar have you got? What beauty products are you hoping for Christmas?- Be sure to comment to let me know! ♥︎
