NYX Rose Makeup Look

The last year I kept saying I was going to do a makeup look here on my blog, but I always chickened out. There are very few actual photographs of me on my blog, bizarre for a beauty blogger, I know! I’m quite self conscious so that’s why it’s taken me so long to finally get the courage, silly I know… I’m now saying F*ck it to insecurities, so here’s a makeup look I’ve been wanting to do for a while (for over two months)!

For this look I’ve incorporated some of my everyday staple products and three of my favourite NYX products which are really good quality yet affordable. I won’t do a step-by-step post as that can get tedious to read, if you do want to see that let me know and I could do a video… (Ps. Sorry the images don’t have the same lighting, they were taken weeks apart as I chickened out of doing this post so many times!)

I really enjoyed doing this and I’ve got a few more looks lined up, I feel the eyeshadow doesn’t show up to it’s true colour and coverage due to the not so sunny climate of Devon. Think I’ll start saving up for some photography lights for better blog pictures and for YouTube.

  1. Lovely makeup! I’ve never seen what the NYX Lid Lingerie look like in action before (I didn’t even know they existed until last Wednesday) and I love the pairing with that lowerlash shade! My favorite NYX product is their matte bronzers, which I use for everything (bronzing, transition shades, lid shades, compact mirror). I’m currently on my third one!

    1. Thanks so much! The lid lingerie is a really nice product which hasn’t really been talked about anywhere 😛 I love the sound of getting a good bronzer to use it for so many different things! Thanks for the suggestion 🙂

      1. Good to know! I’ve never used a non-pressed powder formula shadow (unless I count colourpop), so I’ve been nervous to give them a try, but now I’m feeling the lid fever!
