Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeliner | Review

I know a couple of you have been wanting this review for a while, and the reason it’s been so delayed is that I’d been on the fence about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Waterproof Crème Colour (£18) for a while, as my first experience with it wasn’t the best. It was on the top of my eyelid after an hour and I looked hilarious, so like all my reviews I like to use products a lot to give you an honest review.Anastasia Beverly Hills- MAHALA

The formula is really creamy and pigmented, which is definitely what you want in an eyeliner! It applies smoothly and can be used to make a number of designs from simple thin wings to more out there thick liner.

A little goes a long way, so I recommend building it up. That’s why I had such a bad first experience, I had WAY too much product on and it must never have fully dried as it was too thick. Applying thinner layers no matter what type of makeup (foundation, liquid lipstick etc.) allows you to dry each layer and to build up an even coverage.

I find that if I put powder on my eyelids beforehand, it doesn’t really budge where as I normally find the Kylie Cosmetics’ Kyliner does throughout the day. If you have oily eyelids which I think I might (nice right?!) I definitely recommend setting your eyelid with powder, it really does wonders.

Out of the two eyeliners, I would definitely recommend the Anastasia Beverly Hills over the Kyliner. You get more product, it’s cheaper, more pigmented, lasts longer on the lid, and if you’re like me in the UK you don’t have to deal with shipping from the US. -So I’ve not been grabbing for my Kyliner.

I was planning on getting a few eye looks up with this eyeliner, but in all honesty the pictures were pants! I still need to work on my selfie game.-Got any tips?
