Living in the Arse End of Nowhere

If you think England is gloomy and rainy, try living in the rainiest county in the country! Here in Plymouth I really feel like the city is behind the rest of the country. I think growing up just outside of London, where I was very aware of the fashions and trends (even if I didn’t always follow them), I notice the difference here in Plymouth. When it comes to clothes shopping, the high street stores stock different fashions to London. Mainly due to the horrible weather, it’s a lot of jumpers and then there’s tonnes of clubbing clothes. I find it really difficult to find casual clothes to match my taste.

Plymouth is even behind with makeup! When Lancôme came out with the Juicy Shaker Plymouth only stocked it in one place for ages, that is when they did eventually bring it to the city. The last week I’ve been looking for the Sweet Peach palette from Too Faced, which still hasn’t come here and I actually don’t think it ever will. Look how teeny tiny the Too Faced section is in my local Debenhams!

Today I went to several Superdrugs for the Revolution Retro Luxe Matte Kits as my posts on the Kylie Lip Kits are pretty popular so I thought this would be something you all would want a review about. And guess what… They are still “coming soon”! Grrrr…

Don’t get me wrong, there are some advantages to living in ‘the arse end of nowhere’, like the beautiful seaside! Guess I’ll have to start ordering off the internet…

Do you live in the arse end of nowhere too? Or do you get all the latest must haves the second they are released?- Be sure to comment to make me envious!
