Tips from a Broke Makeup Addict (Part 3)

We can’t all have amazing makeup collections like Carli Bybel or Shaaanox, so when the going gets tough what beauty products are a total must have for the girl who wants to look like a Kardashian, but has a budget of MC Hammer?! What high end products are worth saving up for?

Here are a few of my higher end must haves…

Double Wear Cushion Stick Foundation (£28), it is super easy to use and perfect for quick application on the go. Don’t be fooled into thinking that the foundation is the same as the normal Double Wear formula, as it’s not! The liquid is much thinner giving a lighter coverage with a radiant finish.

POREfessional Primer (£24.50) from Benefit, this will minimise the appearance of pores giving an even airbrushed finish. If you have a drier skin type moisturise before applying this!

Fool Proof Brow Pencil (£18.50) from Benefit, this is my go to for my brows when I’m feeling lazy as it is just that easy to use. The packaging of this mechanical pencil is super pretty.

Kylie Lip Kit (£20), in the lighter shades are a total must. They go on smoothly giving an even pigmented coverage. The darker shades like Kourt K are a different story, they are patchy and bleed.

Touche Éclat Radiant Touch Concealer (£20) from Yves Saint Laurent, is perfect for brightening up the under eye area, giving a more natural coverage hiding dark circles and redness.

Do you have any high end must haves that would add to the list?- Be sure to comment to let me know!

    1. Thanks! It’s my favourite foundation atm, think Estee Lauder is giving out samples of the foundation if you want to try before you buy 😛
