Luxilash Review

The addition of false eyelashes can take a makeup look to the next level. Making your eyes look bigger and more dramatic. No wonder it is a must for celebrities on the catwalk and even for those who need to be camera ready 24/7.- What a life?!

The biggest trend in the lash world at the moment is for gorgeous fluttery lashes made of mink fur. A brilliant alternative to the synthetic plastic ones which I’ve previous experimented with, which can be quite ridged and scratchy. The use of mink makes them feel more natural and soft, no wonder they are a must at the moment.

Luxlilash produce beautifully handmade cruelty free 3D mink eyelashes which are definitely va va voom! Kylie (SALE price £23.99) is the most dramatic pair from the company. Please excuse my eyebrows in the pictures, they definitely need to be shaped!

Riri (SALE price £22.99) is more wispy with a flared out effect, which is going to open up your eye a bit more.

Both eyelash sets come in a hard plastic box to protect them during postage as well as giving you a safe place to keep them in between wears. When you first look at the price of the lashes you can say they are a bit pricey, but these lashes can be used up to 25 times, if looked after properly using the suggested tips from the company. Also, these are made from beautiful soft cruelty free mink hair, unlike cheaper brands.

Riri is definitely my favourite of the two as they aren’t as big, so are more me, I have a small head and I felt it just suited me better. Both sets of lashes are very lightweight and comfortable to wear.

My False Eyelash Tips

  • Trim the sides of the lashes if they are too big (NEVER do this whilst wearing them!)
  • Use clear glue if you are beginner.
  • Put the glue on the lashes, never on your eyelid.
  • Carry your glue with you when out, in case your lashes need to be restuck.

Go check out Luxilash’s website where there’s currently a sale and a 15% discount when signing up, or find them on Amazon.

  1. They look great! I am horrible with putting on strip lashes but the other day I tried individual lashes and I was actually able to apply them. Do you ever use the individual ones? I want to wear them everyday but they take way too long to apply.
